Ongoing Support

Software is not finished when it ships. It is finished when you stop using it.

Operating systems change. Browsers change. Dependencies get security advisories. App stores raise their requirements. None of this is dramatic, but all of it accumulates, and software that nobody tends slowly stops working.

A retained arrangement gives you a monthly block of engineering time to cover exactly that, plus small enhancements as they come up, and a real person to contact when something is wrong. You are talking to the engineers who wrote the code, not a ticket queue reading from a script.

What You Get

Operating system, SDK, and dependency updates
Security patching and vulnerability response
App Store and Play Store resubmissions
Crash and error monitoring with proactive fixes
Small enhancements and change requests
Named contact with an agreed response time

When This Is the Right Fit

If any of these sound familiar, it is worth a conversation.

  1. 01

Software we built for you is now in daily production use

  2. 02

An application you own has no one maintaining it

  3. 03

Your app risks being pulled for outdated store requirements

  4. 04

You need a known response time when something breaks

Common Questions

Will you support software you did not build?

Often, yes. We start with an audit so we know what we are taking on, then stabilize whatever is urgent before moving to a regular arrangement. Occasionally an audit shows a system is too far gone to support responsibly, and we will tell you that rather than take the retainer.

What if we do not use the hours in a month?

The point of a retainer is availability, not consumption. Some months are genuinely quiet. We would rather bank unused time within a reasonable window and put it toward improvements than have you paying for nothing, and we will review the level with you if the pattern holds.

How quickly do you respond?

It depends on the tier you choose and is written into the agreement rather than left vague. Production-down issues get a same-business-day response on every tier. You get a named contact, not a general inbox.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what the software needs to do and who has to use it. We will come back with a realistic scope, a timeline, and a price.
