Common Questions

Native or cross-platform: how do you decide?

It comes down to what the application actually touches. Heavy OS integration, hardware access, or platform-specific UI conventions push us toward native. Broad reach across Windows and macOS with a shared feature set pushes us toward cross-platform. We make the call during discovery and explain the trade-off in plain terms, including what it costs you later.

Can it work without an internet connection?

Yes, and for a lot of desktop work it should. We design an offline-first data layer that keeps a local store on the machine and reconciles with the server when the connection returns, with explicit conflict handling rather than silent overwrites.

How do updates reach our machines?

We set up a signed auto-update channel so the application updates itself, and we can stage releases to a pilot group before everyone gets them. If your IT team deploys through their own tooling instead, we provide silent installers built for that.

Who owns the code?

You do, without qualification. The repository is yours from the first commit, hosted in your organization, and everything we write lands there along with the build and deploy configuration.
